Maastricht Lacrosse

Live. Love. Lax. Welcome to Maastricht Lacrosse also known as the Lamas. Founded in 2000, we are the oldest Lacrosse Club in the Netherlands. Nonetheless, since we are a student sports team, we have a youthful spirit and with various social activities, the Lamas family is deeply integrated into our players' lives. It’s particularly this that helped the club to grow at a fast pace over the past few years reaching 47 members in 2020/21. 

The club is one of the most international and diverse sports teams around with players from all around the world. Centered in the heart of Europe near Belgium and Germany, Maastricht itself is a very international city, mainly driven by its student population, but also by expats from all over Europe living and working in Maastricht. Our team is equally diverse, and we embrace our international culture and the various backgrounds of all our members. Our team covers a whole range of nationalities, but also different levels of competitiveness and we try our best to cater to all needs. Next to enjoying plenty of social events, the girls’ and the boys’ teams both compete successfully in the 1. Belgian League. All of this opens up amazing opportunities and exposure to a young and international target group!
