It was founded in 1995 by the Czech Republic , Scotland , England , Sweden, Germany and Wales. There are currently 31 member nations. >40,000 lacrosse players across Europe.
European Lacrosse Federation run the following European Championship events for National Teams:
- Men's European Field Lacrosse Championship ( 29 countries)
2. Women's European Field Lacrosse Championship ( 16 countries)
3. Men's European U20 Field Lacrosse Championship ( 8 countries)
4. Women's European U20 Field Lacrosse Championship ( 6 countries)
5. Men's European Box Lacrosse Championship ( 14 countries)
6. Ken Galluccio Cup, (European Club Championships) 24 teams, 12 each from men's and women's. KGC is open to any country the champion team of every European League is invited to participate.
