For over 16 years, the leading pan-African sports website - AthleticsAfrica have made a strong case for the promotion and development of Athletics in Africa. It is the hub of the continent’s track and field information, providing a dedicated platform for exclusive athletics news content, features, opinion and analysis.
Since inception in 2004, we have featured exclusive interviews with several top African athletes, coaches and administrators, and followed on the trails of leading African stars in competitions across Europe, Africa and the Middle-East.
Our website, awarded the SABC/Highway Africa award for Journalism Innovation in 2011, provides exclusive videos and visual images of African events, with a strong features and news section. So far, we have averaged a monthly user visit of 120,000 mostly from Africa and the African diaspora in UK, USA, Canada and Asia.
We also have a fast growing podcast show Beta Convo, as part of our Athletics 360 podcast series on Spotify and Apple podcast platforms, which was rated as one of the top by Feedspot as one of the Top 30 Track and Field Podcasts (https://blog.feedspot.com/track_and_field_podcasts/) on the web.
