What is Calcio Storico? Think NFL meets UFC meets WWE, coupled with the cultural fandemonium of the Cirque du Soleil.
It is among the most dynamic and crazy sporting traditions in history: Italian popes and princes used to compete. The game is a 27 vs. 27, no pads, no substitutions, full-contact ball-based sport, played annually among the four neighborhoods of Florence.
In May of 2025, Tekmeron won the Calcio Storico broadcast and merchandising rights from the city of Florence, and in the following three weeks were able to turn around and produce its first live international broadcast on quite short notice.
In June 2026, we are bringing the annual Florence final to the world again as a globally distributed live media event.
