Football/Soccer is currently the most popular and viewed sport in the world with over with 3.5 billion fans worldwide. The last time the United States hosted a world cup back in 1994, football/soccer was virtually nonexistent. Two years later, the US launches Major League Soccer (MLS) and the sport grows massively in popularity in the next 30 years. Now thirty years later, the US is on the brink of hosting its second world cup on US soil. Needless to say, the possibilities of growth it will bring the US is unmeasurable. It is currently ranked 5th in popularity in the US, but with the FIFA World Cup being hosted in our backyard, the ceiling is higher than that of any other sport in the nation. Our intention is to organize competitive football/soccer tournaments and attract only the best semi-professional and high-level clubs in Illinois and surrounding states. The idea is to centralize the best level the sport has to offer in our area for us to showcase on our social media platforms, multiple times a year. G & TACC Sports has become synonymous in Chicago with high level football/soccer due to our popular social media platforms. We have the potential to offer our sponsors a genuine way to gain popularity and loyalty among football/soccer fans in the US come the FIFA World Cup.
