KKASC Women's Water Polo

KKASC Women’s Water Polo is one of the leading women’s water polo programmes in the UK, combining outstanding local talent with experienced international players and former Olympians.

Following back-to-back promotions, we now compete in Division One of the British Water Polo League (BWPL), the highest level of national club water polo in Britain.

The 2025/26 season was our most successful to date. We finished 5th in the BWPL Super 5s, became the first Scottish women’s team to win at that level, retained the Scottish League and Scottish Cup, won the West Cup for a third consecutive year and finished runners-up in the Nordic Trophy during our first season of European competition.

Our strength comes from the mix within the squad. Talented Scottish players train and compete alongside international athletes and former Olympians, creating an environment where younger women can learn, develop and see what is possible at the highest level of the sport.

We are a fast-paced, ambitious and close-knit group, but our purpose goes far beyond results. We want to use elite women’s sport as a platform to build a stronger water polo community and create opportunities for the next generation.

Through our charity, Strathclyde Aquatics, our players and coaches volunteer their time to provide affordable and inclusive water polo opportunities for more than 60 children every week, including young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and children with disabilities. Our senior players are actively involved in coaching, mentoring and inspiring those coming through the programme.
