Maximilian GüntherMonaco Motor Sports, Formula Racing
Maximilian Günther has been competing in ABB FIA Formula E since the 2018/2019 season, which will be held as the official FIA World Championship from 2020. The first all-electric FIA championship for formula cars, which holds its races mostly on street circuits at spectacular venues such as New York, Rome, Monaco and Berlin.
At 21, Maximilian was the youngest regular driver in the history of the ABB FIA Formula E racing series, and a strong performance recommended him for a BMW factory cockpit. In his first year as a BMW factory driver in 2020, he achieved two race wins and a second place, with which he once again made history as the youngest race winner since the inception of Formula E.
Maximilian Günther has been competing for Maserati MSG Racing since becoming ABB FIA Formula E World Champion in the 2022/23 season. The 25-year-old German switched to the successful Italien-French team and will pilot an Formel E Tipo Folgere powered by Maserati in the future.
