Tamás Kovács

My name is Tamás Kovács, I have been living in Berlin for almost a year with the aim of taking my boxing career to the next level.

I succeeded, I made my professional debut in March, and since then my second fight has taken place, I have won both, and my record is currently 2-0 (1KO). 

My coach, Sentürk Özdemir, is a former multiple professional German champion and European champion challenger. 

There are definitely 3 more fight dates on the calendar this year, all three are organized by Mario Pokowietz, an excellent German promoter and matchmaker, and it is highly likely that it will be a full house, like in March. My debut fight was already broadcast on the 8sport TV channel and the upcoming fights will be as well. 

And in 2026 I will move to the next level, on May 23rd I will fight in Berlin at the Columbia Halle, the GBA international German championship title is at stake.

Also a possibly sell-out, also televised.

This is a huge opportunity in itself, I will take advantage of it.

In addition, we have several other big plans with my management, but more on that later.

My short and medium-term goals:

2025: As I mentioned, I have 3 more matches this year, in Cottbus, Velten and Eisenhuettenstadt. I want to win all three and end the year with a 5:0 record.

2026: GBA international German championship title match. To prepare properly and win the title.

My long-term goal is to be the next Hungarian professional world champion after István Kovács, Zsolt Erdei and Károly Balzsay.

As you can see, I am not starting the future with small plans, but with an excellent coach and team, with great “hunger” and ambition, perseverance, excellent work ethic and skills. The promotional background I have is also exceptional, they have brought more than one person to the top of the world in sports.

What I can offer:

* TV coverage. A German channel, 8Sport, will primarily broadcast my May matches, but most likely all of them. It is an excellent opportunity to show our cooperation to the German audience.

* Logo placement on my pants, jersey, and team shirts. An excellent opportunity to appear in all the dramatic pictures and videos while I do my job. In an agreed size and location. Of course, the gloves would not be left out.

* Social media placement. The reach of my social accounts is still developing, but we are working on it and increasing my awareness match by match.

* Connection with Hungarian fans. The bigger the match, the bigger the hype. And I am on my way to the top of the world. Being one of my initial supporters clearly has high marketing value.

Of course, I need your help to focus on my goals.

I am currently training alongside my job, working as a CNC programmer in 2 shifts, training, travel, quality food, nutritional supplements, and even fights have costs. One of my short-term goals and desired success would be to be able to change my job and be able to focus only on training. Of course, I am not neglecting this now, I train 7 days a week, planned, precise, professional.
